CARE

With proper care, the natural properties of alpaca cotton and wool fibers can be maintained for years, even decades.

WASHING

Preferably, wash garments by hand, using cold water and a mild soap. Do not soak the fabric as this can cause the fibers to shrink. Squeeze out as much water as possible without wringing the garment. Avoid fabric softeners as this can dull the fibers. If you use a washing machine, use it on a delicate cycle with a mild soap, preferably natural.

DRYING

To prevent the fabric from losing its shape, if possible, lay your garment out to dry on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight.

SAVED

Fold and store alpaca knitwear in a clean, dry place. Do not hang it as this can stretch the fiber and change the shape of the garment. Preferably, store alpaca garments in a cloth bag.
