Bowling Shirt
DESCRIPTION
Our Bowling Shirt is a classic style, now woven. Designed to be comfortable yet stylish, this shirt is made from 100% Pima cotton, one of the softest and longest lasting fibers in the world. It has an oversized , relaxed fit.
CARE
With proper care, the natural properties of alpaca cotton and wool fibers can be maintained for years, even decades.
WASHING
Preferably, wash garments by hand, using cold water and a mild soap. Do not soak the fabric as this can cause the fibers to shrink. Squeeze out as much water as possible without wringing the garment. Avoid fabric softeners as this can dull the fibers. If you use a washing machine, use it on a delicate cycle with a mild soap, preferably natural.
DRYING
To prevent the fabric from losing its shape, if possible, lay your garment out to dry on a flat surface in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight.
SAVED
Fold and store alpaca knitwear in a clean, dry place. Do not hang it as this can stretch the fiber and change the shape of the garment. Preferably, store alpaca garments in a cloth bag.

ABOUT GENES

This photo is taken in our family garment workshop. Family is the very foundation of Genes.

Our grandparents & parents' 30 years of experience in knitwear—from logistics guidance to mastering the most intricate knitting techniques—have been instrumental in shaping our vision.
Each stage of our production process is carried out by highly qualified local craftsmen who have worked with the family for many years and have watched us grown up.

Our deep respect for the beauty of Peruvian landscapes inspired us to prioritize sustainability in our practices.

We use organic Peruvian Pima cotton - it has exceptional softness & durability due to its long, fine fibers. The decomposition time for organic cotton is 5 months compared to polyester which takes 100 years.
